Big Mum was a deeply caring, loving, and selfless woman whose life was a beautiful reflection of her faith and devotion to Allah (SWT). Known for her warm smile, generous spirit, and unwavering kindness, she brought immense light and comfort to everyone blessed to know her. Big Mum’s kindness extended far beyond her immediate family. Deeply rooted in her faith, she quietly practiced Sadaqah (charity) and was always the first to help a neighbour, comfort a friend in distress, or support those in need within the community. She lived by the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him), spreading peace (Salam) and showing compassion to every soul she encountered. Her commitment to her daily prayers (Salah) and her love for the Quran provided her with a gentle strength that inspired everyone around her. Even in challenging times, her heart remained full of Shukr (gratitude) and Tawakkul (trust in Allah). Though she has returned to her Creator, Big mum's legacy of love, empathy, and faith lives on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, and everyone she touched. The lessons of kindness she taught and the warmth she shared will never be forgotten. We pray that Allah (SWT) forgives her shortcomings, accepts her good deeds as Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity), grants her comfort in her grave, and blesses her with the highest station in Jannat al-Firdous.
